Pikes Peak Ringers is proudly seeking candidates for our Associate Director!
Pikes Peak Ringers (PPR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a community ensemble based in Colorado Springs since 1992. Our committed group of handbell musicians are led by our Artistic Director, renowned handbell composer Matthew Compton. However, Matthew lives about 1300 miles from our rehearsal space, making the commute logistically interesting.
Since we can’t teleport Matthew yet, PPR needs an Associate Director to handle weekly rehearsals with the group. The ideal candidate is an experienced director looking to grow within the handbell community. You will work closely with Matthew to ensure that PPR is achieving his vision and maintaining the performance standard this group has cultivated. We expect that the associate director comes to rehearsal prepared to drive the group.
